I finally started preparing for the GRE this week, and while that is bound to be boring there are plenty of other things to look forward to throughout the week…
Game of Thrones, Season 2 Finale “Valar Morghulis”
I know season 2 has been met with a lot of mixed reactions, but I for one have enjoyed it immensely. This is also (hopefully) the last season in which I will be behind in the books.
Oh, Theon. You fuckface.
E3 2012
I don’t even know what to expect. E3 is usually host to at least a few announcements that result in my list of “Games to Buy” growing in size, but what these games will be is anyone’s guess. It would be nice to hear more about the recently officially announced Dead Space 3, or to hear more about Assassin’s Creed III, Resident Evil 6, etc. Regardless, I will be refreshing numerous videogame websites all day, almost everyday this week. Of course, that is only when I won’t be rewatching episodes of…
Breaking Bad, The Complete Fourth Season (Blu-ray)
My love affair with this show has been going on since it first aired and it is really one of the few shows I can watch endless amounts of time. Sure, I’ve seen all of the episodes in Season 4 multiple times, but it is going to be nice to physically own a copy of these episodes on Blu-ray. Don’t even get me started about how hyped I am for Season 5. July 15th truly cannot come soon enough.

Odz Manouk - Odz Manouk (12” Vinyl LP on Black Wax)
If you’re familiar with the BTC in California, you already know about black metal band Odz Manouk as they are loosely affiliated with that scene. The music on here is a re-release of the great demo tape from 2010, and I feel that there isn’t much more I could have asked for as far as packaging goes. The cover art of the tape translated well to the LP, with a poster, shirt, and button included as well.
My one complaint, however, lies in the damage done to the sleeve during shipping. Thankfully the record itself wasn’t damaged.
I can’t stop laughing at the one in the second row, furthest to the right.
Well, I’m glad you appreciated it as much as I did, haha. Not everyone did - I lost two followers. hahahahaha.
Disclaimer: I have no idea who this guy is. I will award someone 20 USD if they can arrange a sitdown with him. He is hilarious even if he does not mean to be.
This is the first ever Amateur Porn Hall of Heroes post I will be making. I am a normal person with needs and when I’m single and in the mood, I take to the internet to get my fix. I have a real problem with a lot of big budget pornography for a number of reasons I won’t go into, so instead I typically opt for watching regular people have sex. While my primary reason for seeking out this kind of entertainment is to satisfy my urges, there come moments when I come across pictures and videos of people that look or act hilarious and make me erupt with laughter. These are the pieces of media I will feature in the Amateur Porn Hall of Heroes.
First entry: I don’t know what this guy’s deal is. He looks like a cross between a lost Sesame Street character and Uncle Leo in the famous episode where he has eyebrows drawn on his head. There is also something very humorous about this man’s facial expressions as he goes down on this woman. Regardless, this man is an exemplary specimen for the Amateur Porn Hall of Heroes. Enjoy… or don’t.

Darkthrone - Ravishing Grimness (12” LP on Black Wax)
I am well aware that this album is not Darkthrone at their best. In fact, it is arguably Darkthrone’s worst effort, however, I would still take the worst output by one of my favorite bands over the best material by so many bands out there today. And to be fair, there are some pretty choice numbers on here (e.g. “Sin Origin”). I also can’t complain about the much improved artwork. Overall though, I can admit this is mainly a purchase for the sake of having all of their material on vinyl. I’m a collector dork, I know.
Electric Wizard - Legalize Drugs & Murder (7” Vinyl EP on Black Wax)
I used to be in love with Electric Wizard, and while I still hold albums like Come, My Fanatics and Dopethrone in very high regard, I have to admit that this band does not get nearly the same amount of play in my apartment as it did in my parents’ basement when I was a teenager. Anyways, the two songs on this release remind me quite a bit more of Witchcult Today rather than Black Masses, which is a good thing to me. However, I have lost all hope that they will release something on par with the albums I loved so much as an acne-plagued teenage stoner, though, as it seems that is not going to happen. Still good, though.
If you like Darkthrone, Black Sabbath, Wu-Tang Clan, Goodfellas, The Wire, Breaking Bad, horror movies, action flicks, quality videogames, and psychedelic shit... we will have a lot to talk about.
